Kamila Hijab Beryl

Variation of flower embroidery and color combinations

The traditional image of a bride is a woman in a long white dress with an equally long flowing veil. Some women, though, do not want to wear a veil for their wedding, and yet a bridal gown is really not complete without something in the bride's hair. Luckily, there are many beautiful alternatives to a veil.

There can be a variety of reasons why a bride would not choose to wear a veil. She might think that it is too much for an informal wedding, or she might think a veil is inappropriate if she is a second time bride. Some brides just feel silly with a long piece of tulle draped from their heads. Whatever the reason for not wearing a veil, you will want to find a different option to finish off your look while still suiting your style and situation.

One alternative to wearing a veil is to wear a hat. At outdoor garden weddings, you sometimes see the bride wearing a large portrait style hat adorned with silk or fresh flowers. This is a particularly nice option for an informal wedding where the bride is wearing a very simple dress, perhaps with a touch of subtle handmade wedding jewelry. It makes for a very genteel look.

Hats can go to the other extreme, as well. An avant garde bride could wear an edgy one-of-a-kind hat, perhaps in a color other than white. Such hats can be adorned with feathers, bits of tulle, or anything else that catches your fancy. Yet another style of bridal hat is a small pillbox with a piece of open-weave netting. This look is both retro and chic at the same time. It would be ideal with a wedding suit or tailored sheath dress.

If hats are not your thing, there are many other types of adornments that a bride can choose. Ditching the veil does not have to mean forgoing a tiara, if you like the princess bride look. Tiaras can be large and ornate, covered in rhinestones and Swarovski crystals, or they can be delicate and airy, with more of an emphasis on pearls. You will want to make sure that they match the general style of your handmade wedding jewelry, so if your overall look is more glitzy, choose a crystal tiara, or if you are wearing pearl bridal jewelry, then a pearl headpiece is the right choice for you.

Not every bride feels that a tiara is right for either her taste or her wedding. A big crown is rarely a good idea on an older bride, or one who is being remarried. Those brides should seek more subtle and sophisticated hair jewelry. A very wearable option is hairpins. They can be tucked into any type of updo, from an elaborate wreath of curls to the most classic chignon. The nice thing about hairpins is that they give your hairstylist some flexibility; she can place them individually throughout your hair, or cluster them together for a more dramatic effect. If you are only pulling back the sides of your hair, then a decorative comb could be used in place of hairpins.

The final alternative to a veil is wearing fresh flowers in your hair. The most elegant way to do it is to tuck one large flower into the side of a hairstyle. Leave the floral wreaths for the flower girls. There are a few things to consider about fresh flowers; they will usually wilt over the course of the day, and there are limited options for blooms that will work. If you decide to go this route, keep a spare flower or two in water so that you can switch it out as needed.

Brides today worry less about doing what is conventional. They are more interested in expressing their personalities and being true to themselves. If you decide that a veil is not right for you, there are many other stylish alternatives.

The bridal bouquets are one of the prettiest parts of a wedding. You can do some wonderful things with your wedding flowers, especially if you combine different colors and varieties. Here are some tips on how to design beautiful mixed flower bridal bouquets.

Mixing and matching flowers can be intimidating. It is one of those things that looks amazing when done well, but looks like a jumbled mess when it is not. An example of this would be the standard mixed flower bouquets that you find in grocery stores. They are rarely that pretty, and the reason is that they have no cohesive theme, in terms of color, shape, types of flowers, or theme. A few pink carnations, a yellow rose, and some purple mums does not make for a gorgeous bouquet! The lesson to be learned from the unappealing mixed bouquets is not that combining flowers will look bad, just that it has to be approached with a plan to make it all come together into a harmonious whole.

There are a variety of ways in which you can design a bouquet that combines different flowers gracefully. The first of these is color. Decide on one color or color family for the bridal bouquets, and then look for several types of flowers in your chosen color. For instance, let's say that you would like to have pink wedding flowers. You can create lovely bouquets using a mixture of pink roses, hydrangeas, tulips, and sweetpeas. Notice how all of those flowers are not only similar in color, but also in feeling; traditional, in this case. This would be the type of bouquet that would be perfect for a bride who is wearing a classic bridal gown with cultured pearl earrings and a long veil.

Using the same color family, pink, you could create wedding bouquets with an entirely different flavor by making different flower selections. A contemporary bride could carry a bouquet featuring chic pink calla lilies and orchids, perhaps accented by an interesting green like bear grass. Think about the scale of your flowers, as well. Mini calla lilies can be mixed in with the standard sized ones for additional visual interest.

Another way to successfully combine flowers into a beautiful bouquet is to select ones that are different colors and varieties, but which have a theme in common. For instance, in Scandinavia, it is customary to carry a bouquet featuring many fragrant herbs along with flowers. You could create a lovely bouquet by mixing rosemary, lavender, purple wildflowers, and soft lamb's ear leaves. Or you could go an entirely different direction and make a beach theme bouquet. Mix together bright tropical flowers in shades of hot pink, orange, and yellow for the perfect accessory for a destination wedding.

When looking for ways in which to create pretty mixed flower bouquets, also think about layering in non-floral elements. A very traditional bridal bouquet is one made from white roses, white tulips, and white stephanotis. The tiny star shaped stephanotis are usually accented with pearl tipped pins through the center of each one, which is such a sweet detail for a bride who is wearing cultured pearl earrings and pearl necklace. A multi-colored mixed bouquet could be made even more cheerful with the addition of gossamer sheer fabric butterflies tucked into the flowers. Special details such as these will help to give your bridal bouquet a wonderfully harmonious feeling, even when it includes a variety of different elements.

Rectangular Scarf

In women's fashion, there is one accessory that is often completely overlooked, yet can offer endless possibilities for changing the look of many different pieces in your wardrobe. That accessory, of course, is the scarf. Scarves have been a part of women's fashion for many decades, in fact there are representations of fringed rectangles of fabric found in Chinese sculpture dating as far back as 1000 b.c.

In the 1950s wearing a scarf was something that evoked an air of Hollywood-style glamour, and sophisticated elegance. Film stars such as Lana Turner, Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly wore scarves in the same way that stars today wear fake tan. They would walk from planes with sunglasses and scarves on looking amazing and mysterious and created a whole following for the garment. Scarves are worn less in this way today but are still an important part of a woman's wardrobe.

Scarves are made from a variety of fabrics and also a variety of styles - traditionally scarves were made from silk or wool but the advent of man made fibres have made scarves a bit less likely to be made from natural fibres. Scarves come in many sizes and shapes, and many are designed for specific uses. There are bandanas, large shawl-like scarves, square scarves, rectangular scarves, and triangular scarves. Some scarves have hemmed edges, some have fringed edges, and others (mainly those made from man made fibres) have fused edges.

Scarves can be worn in a variety of ways: you can wear them as head coverings, shawls, accent pieces, belts, and even as garments. They can be tied, pinned with a piece of jewellery, or secured with specially designed scarf pins. Below are several ways of wearing scarves.

Covering the head is one of the traditional purposes for which scarves have been used. This can be for traditional or cultural reasons, to protect the head from the cold or to protect a new hair do from the ravages of the wind.

One of the less traditional ways of wearing scarves is to use them as garments. A scarf can be used as skirt or even as a blouse. It is also a great thing to wrap round your shoulders if you are a little bit chilly

Perhaps the most popular use for scarves is as a fashion accessory. A scarf can completely change the look of a plain garment, and can add a touch of softness and femininity to a suit. They are versatile because they are available in many colours and shapes and also because they negate the need for jewellery.

Hijab Code FP

Rayon material, soft & cool
adorned with a beautiful circular ring

There is no particular dress style prescribed to Muslims. This gives room to accommodate their circumstances, tastes and cultures. But there is a dress code which applies to all Muslims. This article will discuss those rules of dress code for Muslim women.

A Muslim woman's dress must cover her entire body except the hands and face which may remain visible.

The dress should not be tight fitting but hang loose so that the shape of the body is not apparent.

The material of the dress should not be so thin, that one can see through it.

The female Muslim woman's dress should not resemble the man's clothing.

The design of the dress should not be elaborate and bold, so to attract attention.

The clothes should not be worn to show off, be arrogant and for the purpose of gaining reputation or increasing one's status in society.

Islam protects women and liberated women over 1400 years ago. The reason for such strict dress code is so that the woman is protected from the lustful gaze of men. In Islam a woman is very precious so she should only display her beauty to those who deserve her. The Muslim woman should not attract attention to herself in any way.

The modern woman today is not free in today's society, she is being exploited. Billboards and other advertising means are using the female sexuality openly, just to attract the desires of men and to sell the products. The media rules as to how the ideal woman should look and many women become slaves to these rules. It is no wonder more and more women are turning to the Muslim dress code

Fatta Hijab Azzalea

Mode splitting the middle

When you are planning on your wedding day look, one of the things that you have to decide is your hairstyle. Brides who wear veils need to make sure that their hairdo will work with their veil, or that their veil will work with their chosen hairstyle. Here are some tips on how to wear your hair with a bridal veil.

Your veil can be worn in a few places on your head, and this will help to determine which hairstyles will work the best for you. If you already have your heart set on a specific hairdo, then you will want to work in reverse, and choose the veil that will sit properly with your hair. The veil and headpiece are often separate from one another, so that is one more element that you will want to factor in to your ultimate decision.

The most traditional way to wear a bridal veil is right on the top of your head, about one handwidth back from your hairline. This will give you a soft pouf of veil around your face, and is also the place to set a veil if you want it to fall forward over your shoulders a little bit. Brides who are wearing blusher veils will find that this traditional placement also works the best for them. You really cannot push a veil with a blusher back too far, or it just looks weird.

When you are wearing the veil on the top of your head, you will have the maximum number of choices for a hairstyle. For formal weddings, a classic updo, fairly high on the back of your head works beautifully. The comb of the veil can then nestle into the base of the hairdo, for a tight non-slip fit. This traditional look is very nice with a special piece of crystal bridal jewelry, such as a sparkly tiara positioned directly in front of the veil.

A veil worn on the top of the head also works nicely with your hair worn down softly around the shoulders. You can have your hairstylist do a little back combing on the crown of your head to help the veil to anchor securely. With your hair down, it is important not to push the veil back too far, or it will simply slide out of your hair as you walk down the aisle. For an unstructured hairstyle, headbands and wreaths will be the best headpieces.

If you do not want the veil to pouf at the top, the answer is to move it back on your head (and to make certain to order a veil that is not too full). A very sweet and pretty look is to wear your hair in a half up and half down style, and to place the veil towards the back of the crown of your head. For your hair bridal jewelry, a delicate crystal and pearl comb can be tucked into the spot where the hair is pulled together.

Some brides want a veil, but prefer to keep it entirely in the back of their head. In that case, the hairstyle that will work is an updo situated either high on the head, or in the middle of the back of your head. You can go for a more elaborate high updo, or opt for a simple sleek ballerina bun closer to the nape of your neck. The veil can be put in under the knot of hair, which makes it easy to remove for the reception, if you like. A scattering of pretty hairpins or a jeweled comb on top of the hairdo is the perfect finishing touch.

Whichever style sounds like you, be sure to have a trial run with your hairstylist. Bring your headpiece, but leave your veil at home, if at all possible so that it does not get damaged. With a little practice, you will be sure to find a hairstyle that you absolutely love.

Payet Jilbab

Payet Jilbab small silk spandec materials, style and of course comfortable to wear

Every woman wishes to have a unique style that mirrors her personal expressions. The Islamic Jilbabs retain the modesty of women, in-line with Islamic tradition and customs. However, clothes not only serve the purpose of covering one's body, they are also a style statement and thus need to be chosen carefully. The Jilbab is one of the most popular types of Islamic clothing, since it covers the body from the head to toe. These clothes are made of rich fabric to give it a sophisticated and elegant look.

Demand for Islamic Jilbabs
The Islamic culture calls for traditional dresses for women, dresses that uphold the pure and spiritual value of the religion. Jilbabs are long loose garments that fulfill this purpose and thus are highly sought after by Islamic women. These coat-like dresses not only cover the whole body, they also look elegant and are generally worn by women over their regular clothing. Available in various colors and designs, Jilbabs are quite popular for their modest yet fashionable and western appearance. They are generally teamed up with a scarf or a wrap to cover the head.

The two layered Jilbabs come in a variety of patterns and can be decorated with embroidery, sequins, lace, beading. It can be made of any decorative material to make it look more elegant. Available in different styles, this form of Islamic clothing can be worn on various occasions and is suitable for women of all sizes. Although black is the most common color used for manufacturing Jilbabs, other colors like mustard, olive, beige, navy, light grey, chocolate, blue, sea green, rose and lavender are also in demand.

Designs of Islamic Jilbabs
Traditionally, the Islamic Jilbabs were designed with mandarin collars. However, designers have experimented and the Jilbabs are now available in various styles, such as Peter Pan collars, V Necks, Zipped pockets, A-Line Shapes, Pockets with beautiful buttons or decorative material.

Jilbabs can also be single breasted or double breasted and can be chosen according to one's body shape and style preference. Although Islamic Jilbabs can be manufactured by using cotton material, polyester based material is preferred. This is because cotton clothes get wrinkled quite easily and their colors fade after a few washes. Nowadays, Jilbabs made of wool are also available. While selecting an Islamic Jilbab, one should check for durability and quality of the material used.

JILBAB LINE BATIK

Jilbab batik crayons with embroidered motifs. Can be used robe or not.

The Jilbab has slowly become a symbol of strong assertion of an Islamic identity for women in the Muslim community worldwide. So much has been discussed and debated about this dress from it being a symbol of oppression subjugating them to will of a male dominated world view right down to restricting participation of women in society.

Since, it is a much debated topic in the media the question that comes to mind, what is the Jilbab? This requires a whole article to just answer that so here is a very short attempt to answer the question. The Jilbab is a long cloak dress according to the verses of the Holy Qur'an verse (333:59) instructed to Muslim women. It is symbol of modesty, Islamic status and a defensive measure against unwarranted sexual advances by promoting self respect, dignity and honour for women.

As this debate has taken place from east to the west there has been some strong hostility for Muslim women. Hijab ban in France, Turkey and Tunisia are just a few examples that come to mind. This has not hindered the determination of Muslim women to come out more resilient. Just a simple search of Jilbab on Google will display results showing that women in the Muslim community have a lot of creativity in inventing very chic and elegant designs of Jilbab.

They have answered all the critics by coming out with funky designs of Jilbab range from sportswear, casual wear, smart and elegant Jilbab designs. The latest introduction to this range has been a burkini which is a swimwear costume for women to wear in swimming pools and beaches. The evidence is clear to suggest that Jilbab is not a hindrance but required a creative approach to re-style it to suit the needs of the Muslim women of today. This allows her to fulfil the moral Islamic obligations as well as feel comfortable that she is not betraying her religion to play a positive role in society.

The various range of Jilbabs are designed to cater for that need for her to be a mother, wife, employee, business women or have time to follow leisurely pursuits for the wellbeing of her health.

The common misconception is that Islamic clothes for women are based on 'old-fashioned' principles. The truth is that Islamic clothing, while being necessarily 'modest,' does not need to sacrifice elegance, dignity and style. While traditional approaches to such clothing might have actually added to this perception, there are a host of new styles and designs that actually combine contemporary benefits with traditional values. Muslim women today have a range of never-before options, where they can get traditional apparel within easy reach.

Islamic Clothes for Women: Who, What, Where?
Thanks to the Internet, there are a host of online stores that have sprung up catering to niche categories of customers, and Islamic clothes for women are no exception. Take EastEssence.com for example. This online store offers a range of traditional wear that includes:

Jilbabs
Hijabs
Scarves
Shawls
Jackets
Skirts
Sets (combined sets of upper and lower clothing and head scarf)

Shoes
Accessories

Furthermore, the range is not just limited to women's clothes. You will also find clothing for men and children, school uniforms for girls and boys, and even options such as custom sizes that are tailored to your specifications, such as length.

Islamic Clothes for Women: Advantage Online
Online stores can also prove to be a money saving option. Such outlets do not require the maintenance of a physical presence in the market, in terms of an actual shop. This enables them to avoid a number of costs and overheads. Such cost savings are usually channelled back to the customers in terms of discounts and special offers.

Niche websites, such as those who offer Islamic clothes for women, need to constantly increase their customer base in order to sustain themselves. To attract and increase customer reach, almost all websites have some form of discount or special offer ongoing.

However, a word of caution to the first-time online shopper; always buy from a reputed online store such as eastessence.com. Ensure that the site has a secure payment mechanism and also read the testimonials posted by other clients. This will ensure that you get exactly what you pay for.
